My daughter 13 yrs old is on Remicade and Methotrexate for 2 years and she is inflamation free for the last 2 years.Now she is getting her infusions every 8 weeks and she is on 10 mg of Methotrexate. Can we start tapering of Remicade? what is the protocol of tapering of remicade? Extend the infusion interval or reducing the dosage?
Another question is her doctor suggested to take a TB test(PPS). Is it safe to take the test, when she is on Remicade?
