We were up to see you on Aug.8 when we were about to begin Mtx. Nick is now on 10mg. for about 3 wks. He was started on 7.5 for about 2 wks. Just returned from the opth. Eye is quiet, maybe one rare cell. Pressure was up to 34, he is on cosopt so Opth. stopped pred. Opth. wants Rheum. to increase Mtx to 15mg.
Opth. is worried about eye being inflamed again and having to go back on pred with this pressure up. Nick is also on Celebrex 200mg. Rheum. was waiting for Mtx to kick in before pulling Celebrex.
Can Mtx be pushed up to 15mg. in one shot? Is 10mg. enough to be effective?
