Dr. Foster - My son (age 10), as a result of past inflammation, now has trace flare in both eyes. Our opthamologist has stated that we may just have to "live" with this. He has been on Pred Forte 1/day in rt eye since Oct. and flare has not changed at all. Left eye had cells and inflammation in May and now, since about late June, just has flare and is on 1 drop/day. Is it realistic for me to expect no flare at all? What are the long term effects of permanent flare?
