That's 5 times the amount that I use.
Folic acid supports tissues other than the white blood cells methotrexate inhibits. Therefore, it reduces the liklihood of unwanted side effects. csf

"That's 5 times the amount that I use. " is it okay for it to be that high, wont it just mean I have a higher chance of not getting side effects |

It may also mean that some of the intended effects of the methotrexate in inhibiting inflammation are also neutralized.

Thats crazy! Maybe I should call up my doc and ask why its so high. I mean is it normal to start of at this dose and later reduce to 1mg. Ive never had a
deficiency of folic acid, and just recently started this treatment. (At 15mg/week)
