There are risks to everything. One must decide on how to balance risks against life style changes that make life miserable. Please express your concerns to
your doctor and let him or her guide you. I personally never suggest my patients on immunosuppressive medications alter their pleasurable pursuits such as
swimming, pool, ocean or otherwise.
