Dr. Foster,
My 6yr. old daughter has been followed by yourself & a local doctor in PA. She is now on Remicade per. your suggestions. She has been flare free for periods of up to a year, but not a "huge" flare, a few cells in one eye. We were told by a doctor in casual conversation that my daughter WILL have cataracts due to the steroid drops that have been used and still get introduced here & there when things start to flare. Is that always the case when the steroid drops are used? If it's short term or a low dose, will the cataracts "still" come sooner or later? Her vision is 20/20, no high pressure in the eyes and the remicade has been working for 7 mons. Just hoping we would dodge one complication? Once again Thank you for caring so very much about our children.
