My 15 yr. old son has had uveitus since may 06. He is on 15mg(He originally started on 20mg but liver didn't like it.) of MTX weekly and has been off of his steroid since Feb. 08. He developed nuero vascularitis in Jan.08, and had been on Avastin drops 1 every 3 days( this is now currently quiet) we were also seen by you at that time. Just saw the opthomalogist at Will's eye today and there are active cells so he has been put back on .lotemax 4X daily for 2 weeks-if he responds. So my question is why isn't the MTX working is the dose to low? He will be seeing the rheumatoidologist on Sept.9. Thank you in advance for your response and kindness.
