my 8 year old daughter was diagnosed in October with chronic anterior uveitis in the left eye.
since being diagnosed, she has been on metholtrexate 25mg injections weekly, prednisolone & cyclopentolate drops 4 times a day, and folic acid daily.
just recently i was told that we are not getting the results that we expected from the metholtrexate, and her cateract has gotten more dence. her rheumatologist suggest that we change her medication to remicade or humira, and give her a steroid implant.
I'm seeking out another opinion, any direction you can give me is appreciated
