I recently visited regarding a re-occuring flare and PVD in my left eye. How long would my eye have to be quite before I can get a Viterectomy? My vision in my left eye is poor and it seems to be getting worse. My left retina is thicker than my right so I do not know if this is the cause of the lost vision or the PVD. Can the surgery repair my retina as well? Just wondering if anything can ever be done to improve my condition. I am scared and worried about this. It is becoming more and more difficult for me to work and drive.
