I have birdshot and last saw you at MERSI on 11/21 as part of the Merrimack study. At that time you removed me from the study and prescribed zenapax infusions. It took some time but insurance approved and now I'm set up at Albany Medical Center via Dr. Naomi Falk. Starting this Friday, 12/28, I'll go for the infusions every two weeks. I am currently scheduled to see you in Slingerlands, NY during your February 9 visit.
The purpose of this e-mail is to advise you of this and to ask if Feb. 9 is a sufficient period of time to wait to see you. By that visit I will have had four infusions.
Also, I've read through literature on possible side effects associated with zenapax but I wonder if there is anything in particular you advise patients to be aware of. I have a standing order for blood work, the results of which are sent to Dr. Falk's office. Should I also have them faxed to MERSI or do you think Dr. Falk's review is sufficient?
