Dr. Foster, My 21-year old daughter has been on CellCept with no flares and everything remaining clear and quiet for 14 months. Her doctor plans to wean her off of it in January. Prior to taking CellCept she struggled constantly with chronic flare for almost 3 years and a case of neuroretinitis which has left her vision permanently damaged. Since the CellCept has been so successful, I'm obviously a bit anxious about her getting off the meds. From your experience, do you think the worst is over and what should we expect? Any insight you can give would be greatly appreciated.
